Legal
This notice explains what personal data Buildregs.ai collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website only — client engagements are governed by the contract and data processing agreement for that engagement.
Who we are
Buildregs.ai is a trading name of Building AI Ltd (company number 823017), Galway, Ireland. For any question about this notice or your data, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Enquiry details — the name, company, email, phone number and message you submit through our contact form.
- Usage data — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, approximate location (city level, from a truncated IP address), device type and referring source. We do not run advertising or remarketing tags.
- Server logs — our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data to serve and secure the site.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
- To keep the site available and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
- Formspree — receives and forwards contact form submissions.
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics, only after you consent.
- Cloudflare Pages — hosting and content delivery.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months from our last contact, unless it becomes part of a client relationship, in which case it is retained under that engagement’s terms. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict our use of it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and revise the date above.
